Please follow the instructions as stated. Failure to do so may lead to damage to the tattoo.
Times of Grace, its owner or any of its agents may not be held responsible for any negligence or damage done to the tattoo.
If there is any adverse reaction, I will seek Doctors attention immediately.
Your tattoo may bleed a bit at first but it will stop within a couple of hours. Keep the tattoo bandaged for no more than two hours after leaving the studio. If the bandage sticks to the skin, soak the area with cold water until the bandage loosens, then remove carefully.
Once the tattoo is exposed, wash it carefully in cold water, gently applying mild soap with fingers (never use a cloth) to remove all surface blood. Rinse with cold water, pat dry with a clean towel and air-dry for 15 minutes. Gently and sparingly apply a thin layer of aftercare cream/ointment. Repeat 2 or 3 times a day for 3 days. After which time, a plain white lotion should be used daily until completely healed,
After 5 to 14 days, the tattoo may start to peel or scab (this is normal - like a sunburn). DO NOT pick or peel the skin away. Let it fall off naturally during washing or application of aftercare. Fresh skin will soon replace the dead skin. Colors may appear faded during this time, but will return when healing is completed.
After several weeks, all scabbing will be gone, but the area may still be sensitive. Continue regular cleaning and application of a plain white lotion.
Once healed, keep sun exposure to a minimum. Always use a sun block (at least SPF-30 sunscreen that provides UVA and UVB protection).
